Town North's automatic overdraft protection helps you avoid bouncing checks by automatically transferring funds from another Town North account into your checking account.

In the event one or more checks are presented for payment and your checking account balance is not sufficient, we will make a transfer to your checking account in increments of $50.

Town North will transfer up to your available balance from another Town North checking, money market or savings account.* There is a one-time fee for each day your account is overdrawn and a transfer is processed.

*Transfers from a money market account to another account or to third parties by preauthorized, automatic, telephone or ATM transfer are limited to six per month with no more than three by check, draft, debit card or similar order. Each additional debit will be charged the excess withdrawal fee. Transfers from savings accounts are limited to six per month, and an excess withdrawal fee will be charged for each debit after the first two per month.
